Job Summary
Prepare foods according to menus and recipes; follow food safety guidelines and proper handling; assist with food storage, tray assembly, and cleaning; operate institutional food preparation equipment; prepare and maintain nutrition-appropriate meals and alternatives to accommodate resident choices; communicate with supervisor to maximize resident satisfaction; assist with stat inspection preparation and interact with surveyors as instructed; support Dietary Manager with survey training as needed.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience as a cook in an institutional food service setting preferred.
