Job Summary
As a Cook at Fan Duel Sports, you will prepare and cook orders efficiently while minimizing food waste and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to promote quality service. The position requires strong cooking skills, basic knowledge of food preparation, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year experience of cooking on a fast paced kitchen line and food preparation experience
- Basic knowledge of cooking, following recipes, portion control, and presentation
- Communication skills
- Reading and writing abilities
- Mathematical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary certified training preferred
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
Additional Requirements
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
