Job Summary
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff in a school cafeteria; clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment; record commodities used and production/serving measures; operate institutional kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, slicers, pressure cookers); prepare and stock serving counters, tracks meal counts and payments, or balances transactions; orient and guide student lunch helpers; provide customer service in food service and support routine cleaning and inventory tasks.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Permit
- Some experience in food preparation
