Job Summary
Provide leave cover as both an Early Childhood Educator and Cook across our Whittlesea centre, supporting children from six weeks to school age. Prepare nutritious meals while managing food safety, dietary requirements, and allergy protocols. Work flexible 8-hour shifts between 6:45am and 6:15pm, including opening and closing duties, with availability for at least three days per week. Step into either Educator or Cook roles as required to maintain seamless operations.
Required Qualifications
- Holds (or is working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Has experience preparing healthy meals in childcare, aged care, hospitals or similar environments
- Understands food safety, dietary requirements and allergy management
- Is available at least three days per week
- Can work 8-hour shifts between 6:45am and 6:15pm, including opening and closing shifts
- Is reliable, adaptable and happy to step into either Educator or Cook shifts as required
- Has strong references from previous employers
