Job Summary
Prepare meals according to prescribed diets and menus while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining area. Shop for food supplies, manage inventory, and organize pantry storage in accordance with agency standards. Communicate dietary concerns to the dietitian as needed and assist with menu planning. You will spend approximately 75% of your shift on meal preparation and 25% on direct support responsibilities, including minimal personal care tasks if the program is short-staffed. Work Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in East Greenbush. A high school diploma, valid NYS driver's license, and cooking experience are required.
