Job Summary

Prepare appealing, nutritious meals using established recipes, rotating menus, and resident-specific dietary requirements while assisting the Director of Dining Services in overseeing daily kitchen operations. Provide direction and support to dietary team members throughout the shift, coordinating food preparation and service to ensure accurate, high-quality delivery. Reinforce food-safety, infection-control, and workplace-safety procedures while monitoring kitchen organization, portioning, and cleanliness. Respond to changing operational needs and maintain focus during busy meal periods. This blended role allows you to grow as a leader without stepping away from hands-on culinary work at Elderwood at Cheektowaga, where meals provide comfort and connection for residents.
