Job Summary
Prepare appealing, nutritious meals using established recipes, rotating menus, and resident-specific dietary requirements while assisting the Director of Dining Services during their absence. Oversee daily kitchen operations, coordinate meal preparation and service for quality and timely delivery, and reinforce food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace-safety procedures. Monitor kitchen organization, portioning, presentation, and cleanliness to ensure regulatory standards are consistently followed. Provide direction and support to dietary team members throughout the shift, responding to changing operational needs during busy meal periods. Lead by example through reliability, professionalism, and teamwork in a blended culinary and supervisory role.
