Cook/Dietary Care Specialist (Part-Time)

Prepare meals and snacks for clients according to ASTER SPRINGS menus and dietary formulary, rotating stored food by date and ensuring all refrigerated items are less than one week old. Document meal preparation, clean kitchen and dining rooms, and disinfect back stock areas per guidelines. Provide emotional support to clients, purchase groceries, and coordinate with dietitians on supply needs and menu changes. Record refrigerator temperatures, manage equipment failures, and ensure meal delivery follows the program schedule. Maintain compliance with accrediting bodies during inspections.
