Job Summary
Prepare, serve, and deliver healthy, homemade meals within the convent home according to established menus, recipes, sanitary standards, and policies. Alternate between cook duties and dietary aide responsibilities throughout shifts, including days, afternoons, and a weekend rotation. Work collaboratively with sisters to support their religious life and maintain a warm, caring environment. Minimum two years of institutional food service experience required, with eldercare background preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $18.57 to $29.00 based on experience and internal equity.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an institutional food service environment
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an eldercare setting is preferred (e.g. assisted living, long-term care, hospital, or other health care environments)
- SERV Safe certification preferred
- Cook or Prep Cook experience is a PLUS!
