Job Summary
Cook meals and provide food service for patients, the retail cafe, and catering events at Bolivar Medical Center under the guidance of the chef/production manager. Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and hospital staff while following company recipes and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to health and safety policies, and assist team members to help the department operate efficiently. This part-time position offers morning, day, evening, or night shifts with a wage of $13/hour. Background checks, drug screens, and proof of employment eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English
- Work well in a team environment
- Practice good personal hygiene
- Be neatly groomed
- Be in uniform
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously

- Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift
