Job Summary
Prepare meals using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets, ensuring neat appearance and professional behavior. Inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality while adhering to local Department of Health regulations and company policies. Ensure food is prepared for the whole facility in a timely manner, prioritizing workflow and multitasking across shifts from 6a to 2:30p or 11:15a to 7:45p, Monday through Sunday. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 hourly based on experience with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills
- Understanding of kitchen, safety and sanitation
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Shifts 6a to 2:30p; 11:15a to 7:45p
- Monday thru Sunday
