Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for food preparation following established protocols, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and ensuring quality and consistency in all menu items. Key duties include working off a prep list, stocking products, keeping equipment clean, and maintaining daily temperature logs. The position requires superior customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effective communication skills, and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to function well at a high pace, sometimes high-stress environment
- Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
- Must be able to stand for long hours on your feet
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work weekend and night shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year food service, kitchen or customer service preferred
- ServSafe/food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
