Job Summary
Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food; wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix items for cooking. Cook food according to recipes and quality standards using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers while testing for proper doneness. Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and wash, disinfect, and check appliance temperatures. Follow all safety policies, report maintenance needs or injuries, and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
