Job Summary
Prepares and cooks a variety of food for residents, families and visitors; oversees the work of other food service staff involved in the cooking process; ensures proper preparation, portioning and serving per standardized recipes; maintains sanitation and safety schedules; supports dietician-guided menu changes; trains culinary assistants; collaborates with management to ensure a dignified, respectful dining atmosphere and HIPAA compliance; demonstrates teamwork and a positive attitude in delivering high-quality dining services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
