Job Summary
Cook role at Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to recipe standards, assisting with daily kitchen prep and ingredient preparation, maintaining organized kitchen stations, following food safety protocols, assisting with inventory and storage, and mentoring junior kitchen staff under the guidance of senior chefs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of kitchen experience, and solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment; culinary education or training is preferred and food handling certification is preferred.
