Job Summary
As a Cook in Cogir Senior Living's community restaurant, prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and guests, following established menus, dietary guidelines, and sanitary regulations. Work with the culinary director to create traditional comfort foods and quarterly seasonal options from scratch, maintain clean, sanitized stations, collaborate with the dining services team for timely service, and support overall kitchen operations. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Food Handler Card, and at least 1 year of full-service kitchen experience; culinary school or equivalent experience is a plus. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and familiarity with safety regulations and kitchen sanitation are highly desirable.
