Job Summary
Prep, prepare and deliver highest quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a culinary team. Promote guest service and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, assisting with chopping and portioning, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, monitoring stock and reporting low supplies to the head chef, coordinating with kitchen staff, and adhering to health and safety standards. Requires knowledge of kitchen tools and utensils, strong communication, ability to multitask under pressure, good learning skills, and physical endurance (standing, moving arms, lifting 40 lbs). A valid food handlers license is required; culinary-school certification is preferred; 1 year of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
