Cook/Chef

Preschool Cook at The Learning Experience responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking healthy meals for preschool children that meet nutritional requirements; maintaining and communicating about food allergies to teachers; following food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures; collaborating with Center Leadership to purchase food and supplies and maintain inventory as required by local and state agencies; providing excellent customer service to parents and children; and staying flexible to daily childcare center needs. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of cooking experience, a food handling certificate, and the ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
