Job Summary
Cook position in Cedarhurst Senior Living kitchen focused on preparing high-quality, nutritious meals while meeting hospitality and service standards. Responsibilities include accommodating dietary needs, maintaining food safety and infection control standards, ensuring meals are served on time and at proper temperatures, maintaining temperature logs and cleaning schedules, assisting with training of new kitchen staff, and collaborating with the Dining Services Director and other staff to foster a safe, resident-focused dining environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one (1) year experience as a cook is preferred
- Applicable state/county licensure required
- Food Manager Certification, or ability to obtain, is required
- CPR or BLS certification preferred

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 200 pounds with assistance
