Job Summary
Cook role at Oliver & Bonacini; handles day-to-day food preparation for event space, follows recipes and presentation specs, maintains prep lists, FIFO, supports inventory and receiving, maintains sanitation and food safety per WHMIS and MSDS. Requires 1-2 years cooking experience in fast-paced restaurant/event settings; culinary diploma/degree asset; knife handling skills; ability to stand throughout shift; availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays; legally eligible to work in Canada. Involves working 100% on feet in a high-energy hospitality environment with opportunities for gratuities and staff benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or event/ catering environment
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
