Job Summary
Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management, tailoring meals to meet individual needs and preferences. Ensure residents are provided with healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals while supporting the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience. Utilize exceptional skills and a broad range of cuisines to address dietary requirements in response to the social, spiritual, and cultural needs of residents. This role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and some commercial kitchen experience, with a preference for aged care backgrounds. During the influenza season, staff must provide evidence of a current vaccination. Apply online only; emailed applications are not accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Great communication and documentation skills
- Some experience within a commercial kitchen
- A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines
- A healthily amount of experience with dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
- Current influenza vaccination
