Job Summary
Cook position at Cardinal Bay (Carriage Inn Bryan) seeking Full-time & Part-Time cooks to prepare complete meals for residents in a care/restaurant-style setting. Responsibilities include preparing soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, baked goods; ensuring dietary restrictions are respected; creating gravies and sauces from scratch; presenting dishes attractively; maintaining sanitation and proper equipment shutdown; managing inventory to minimize waste. Requires minimum 6 months prep-cook experience (preferred), HS diploma or GED, English literacy, and background check. Shifts run 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, Wednesday through Sunday, with in-person on-site work; opportunities for advancement and benefits like health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid training, and referral bonuses. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience as a prep cook (preferred)
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.
