Job Summary
Cook on a part-time schedule (530am-130pm with every other weekend) at La Porte City Specialty Care in La Porte City, IA. Responsible for contributing to menu planning and meal preparation, serving meals that meet nutritional guidelines, ensuring meals are nutritious and attractively presented per dietary requirements and food safety standards, and developing positive relationships with residents. Requires demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation, willingness to complete training in Food Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets, and healthcare dietary experience is a plus.
