Job Summary
Cook on Part Time 2nd shift at West Ridge Specialty Care (a 78-bed long-term care skilled nursing community) in Knoxville, IA. Responsibilities include contributing to menu planning and meal preparation that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences; preparing and serving meals that are nutritious, well-balanced, and attractively presented; ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and food safety standards; and developing positive, respectful relationships with residents while incorporating feedback. Qualifications emphasize demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service, and a willingness to complete training in Food Safety, Sanitation, and Modified Diets; healthcare dietary experience is a plus.
