Job Summary
Prepare meals for residents at regularly scheduled mealtimes, ensuring appropriate items match dietary needs. Perform food preparation, covering, storage, and labeling tasks while arranging tray and table settings. Serve meals according to established schedules and dietary procedures, delivering nourishments and supplements to the nurse station. Maintain sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and preparation areas; clear tables, operate dishwashing systems, and dispose of waste. Monitor resident consumption and behaviors, actively participating in the QAPI program. Maintain regular attendance to support a positive atmosphere for the elderly population.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be at least sixteen (18) years of age.
- Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent, or be in school.
- Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.
