Job Summary
Prepare meals for residents at regularly scheduled mealtimes, ensuring appropriate items are provided according to dietary needs and safety protocols. Perform food preparation, covering, storage, and labeling tasks while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and preparation areas. Serve meals to residents, deliver nourishments to the nurse station, and clear tables, removing dishes and utensils to the dishwashing area. Operate automated dishwashing systems, record temperatures, and sort clean dishes after unloading the machine. Participate in the QAPI program, report resident changes in consumption or behaviors, and maintain dry storage areas by unpacking, dating, and rotating supplies. Same-day pay and flexible scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be at least sixteen (18) years of age.
- Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent, or be in school.
- Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.
