Job Summary
The Cook role involves preparing meals based on menu requirements and ensuring food quality and standards are met. Responsibilities include using standardized recipes, selecting appropriate ingredients, maintaining food inventories, monitoring food quality during production, and keeping meal documentation records. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and the physical ability to handle and move food service equipment. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one-year related experience
- Knowledge of food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements
- Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds continuously
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods; turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift
