Job Summary
Cook at Brothers of Mercy: Prepare and cook hot meals for lunch and dinner service following recipes, menus, and production requirements. Coordinate production to ensure quality, taste, and presentation of food. Batch cook items for timely service on the lunch tray line. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met throughout preparation and storage. Properly utilize leftovers in collaboration with the Supervisor to minimize waste. Required Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
