Job Summary
Cook position at Brentwood School responsible for preparing hot and cold menu items per recipes and schedules, operating commercial kitchen equipment safely, applying grilling, roasting, sautéing, steaming, baking, and braising techniques, assisting with events and catering, maintaining food quality and proper holding temperatures, adhering to HACCP and food-safety practices, labeling and rotating inventory, and maintaining a clean workstation while supporting meal service for students, faculty, staff, and guests.
Required Qualifications
- California Food Handler Card required
- 2+ years of cooking experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume food service preferred
