Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all meals, ensuring on-time service, prioritizing sanitation, nutrition, and safety, and following all recipes to maintain quality and cost control. Responsibilities include planning and presenting three balanced meals daily, assisting with food ordering and storage to meet CDPH/LA County standards, following the rotation menu, maintaining high dining room and kitchen standards, helping train students in food service, and participating in community activities. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, at least one year of related culinary experience or training, a valid driver’s license, ServeSafe certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Salary range is $20-$21 per hour. The position is based in Los Angeles, CA at 811 Beacon Ave.
