Job Summary
Cook needed at Avista Senior Living to prepare 3 meals daily for 39 residents on Friday–Sunday 6am–6pm (shift includes a 2-hour break). Responsibilities include checking ingredients for quality, maintaining clean-as-you-go practices, reporting equipment issues, coordinating next-day production, assisting with theme/holiday meal planning, and maintaining temperature/meal logs. Candidates should have cooking experience, be dependable, communicate effectively, and hold a High School diploma or GED. Knowledge of basic culinary service management and adherence to sound food handling practices are expected.
