Job Summary
Prepare and cook food for residents in a restaurant-style atmosphere while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen at all times. Build positive relationships with residents, employees, and coworkers. Join the kitchen staff to support dining as a highlight of residents' days. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, one to three years of cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare, and a valid food handlers permit. Full-time employees earn $22.00/hr to $26.40/hr with access to health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
- Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs
