Job Summary
Assists the Cook in purchasing, preparing and delivering food products, cleaning of kitchen facilities, and maintaining sanitary standards in compliance with USDA guidelines. Helps prepare a variety of foods that are culturally and age appropriate, supports inventory and recordkeeping, ensures FIFO usage, checks food temperatures for quality, maintains sanitary kitchen and storage areas, participates in safety practices, and substitutes for the Cook as needed while aligning with Head Start objectives.

- Experience working in meal preparation and planning.
