Job Summary
Prepare and cook foods for hospital patients, staff, and visitors as directed by management while ensuring overall department sanitation. Review production sheets to determine product types and quantities, then plan a cooking schedule that minimizes waste and utilizes leftovers. Follow proper food preparation, handling, and sanitation techniques to maintain quality, and clean and sanitize all preparation areas and equipment. Provide assistance to the tray line. This PRN position requires 1-3 years of experience and offers a pay range of $17.00 to $26.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years
- Reviews production sheets to determine types and quantity of product to be used
- Plans a cooking schedule and utilization of leftovers, keeping waste and leftovers to a minimum
- Ensures food quality by following proper food preparation, handling and sanitation techniques
