Job Summary
Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of colorful recipes and menu items while ensuring plate presentation and food quality meet company standards. Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition, complying with all state and local health department practices and infection control protocols. Contribute to the resident experience by showcasing unique skills and applying knowledge to elevate community culture. Participate in daily pre-shift meetings to share creative ideas with the team for a consistently elevated experience. This role supports Artis Senior Living's mission to help residents with dementia achieve purpose, belonging, and joy through the "Honoring Yesterday & Celebrating Today" act of service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Serv-Safe certification
- Willingness to obtain Serv-Safe certification upon acceptance of employment offer
- Experience within senior living or healthcare environments
- Sensitivity to needs of senior population
