Job Summary
Cook/Kitchen Team Members prepare food items consistently, adhere to recipe standards, maintain a safe working environment with proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines, and contribute to a high-volume, guest-focused kitchen. The role supports teamwork, offers flexible schedules, benefits (paid vacation after averaging 30 hours/week, shift meal, 401(k), medical/dental/vision), and growth opportunities within a well-established Applebee’s franchisee environment. Prior kitchen experience, back-of-house preparation/production, and a genuine commitment to quality food for guests are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 1+ year of restaurant cooking experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs up to 20 times per day
