Job Summary
Prepare and serve nutritious meals following recipes and menus that meet residents' needs. Cook palatable, attractive food in required quantities while leading kitchen staff in preparation, tray assembly, cleaning, and equipment storage. Maintain a clean food service work area during preparation and service, handling and storing supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations. Full-time evening shift available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
- Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience
