Job Summary
Follow recipes to prepare nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs while maintaining strict sanitation and food safety standards. Cook palatable, attractive meals in required quantities, lead kitchen staff on food preparation, tray assembly, and equipment cleaning, and ensure all food storage and disposal comply with state and federal regulations. Maintain a clean work area throughout the food service process. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
- Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience
