Job Summary
Prepare palatable, nutritionally adequate meals in institutional quantities following menu cycles set by the Registered Dietitian. Supervise dietary staff on food preparation, tray assembly, cleaning, and equipment storage while assisting with instructing them on garnishing and presentation. Educate residents on dietary choices and prepare food substitutes to accommodate cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. Maintain proper food temperatures and supply levels to ensure safe, compassionate care for long-term residents. Full-time and part-time roles available with competitive wages, PTO, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience is preferred
- Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred
