Job Summary
Follow recipes to prepare nutritious meals meeting residents' dietary needs and cook palatable, attractive food in required quantities. Lead kitchen staff on food preparation, tray assembly, cleaning, and equipment storage while maintaining a clean work area. Handle, store, and dispose of supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations. Shifts include day and evening options for part-time or full-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
- Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience
