Job Summary
Cook at Aurora Sinai Medical Center responsible for reviewing production sheets and recipes, preparing food per guidelines, maintaining records and inventory control, ensuring food safety and portion control, and utilizing a range of kitchen equipment to prepare meats, vegetables, soups, and desserts. Requires knowledge of food safety practices, ability to monitor temperatures and sanitation, and capacity to follow recipes while accommodating dietary restrictions. Must demonstrate growth- and development-related care awareness for patients and adhere to department standards. ServSafe Food Handler certification must be obtained within 1 year. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Typically 3 years of experience in food production in hotel, restaurant, or high-end institutional settings. We offer full-time hours (40 per week) with every other week and holiday AM/PM shifts, comprehensive benefits, and compensation range $20.80-$31.20 hourly (annualized to $43,264-$64,896). Required Qualifications
