Job Summary
Cook A' - Chef de partie responsible for assisting the executive chef and sous chefs in menu planning, recipe development, and culinary presentations; prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications; monitor food quality and presentation; assist in training and supervising junior culinary staff; maintain a clean, organized workstation in line with food safety guidelines; coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food to guests; stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook A' or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid food handling and safety certification
