Job Summary
Prepare resident meals according to diet specifications, facility procedures, and sanitary regulations. Maintain sanitation of equipment, utensils, work areas, storage, and serving areas. Follow proper food handling procedures and communicate effectively while performing duties involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, sliding, and transferring food items. Require a high school diploma, Texas Food Handler Certificate, and knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and Universal Precautions. Previous skilled nursing facility experience is preferred.
