Job Summary
Plan menus and purchase food supplies for nutritional meals, then cook and serve food to guests while maintaining inventory and monitoring expiration dates. Clean kitchen facilities, equipment, and dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and dishes, ensuring proper personal hygiene and safe food storage. Prepare snacks and assist with special events, supervising volunteers when needed. Perform duties involving frequent standing, walking, and kneeling in a normal kitchen environment with hot stoves and cold freezers. High school diploma or GED required with three years of large group cooking experience; food handlers' card preferred.
Required Qualifications
