Job Summary
Cook role in a full-time shift (6:00am–2:00pm) at Arrow Senior Living in Saint Peters, MO. Responsibilities include preparing all menu items according to established standards and recipes, presenting food attractively and timely, enforcing health protocols, and engaging with residents to understand their preferences. Must be at least 18, able to read/write/communicate in English with residents, hold a current Food Handlers Card, demonstrate leadership and supervision skills, and be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Indoor work with occasional outdoor events; criminal background clearance required. Compensation starts at $19.25 per hour plus full benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with Residents
- Current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health
- Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for long periods
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
