Job Summary
Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, ensuring exceptional quality food is presented attractively and timely. Maintain strict health protocols by following proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and temperature controls. Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences, participating in resident orientations to serve as a culinary connector. Work Friday and Saturday shifts from 6:30am to 2:30pm at Vitalia Highland Heights in Highland Heights, OH. This part-time role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in extreme temperatures. Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the areas of leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills with other members of management, professional, and support staff
- Ability to work primarily indoors, but also be available to work outside for events
- Criminal clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfort to be in close contact to extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
