Job Summary
Cook on the line and for prep duties to prepare menu items quickly per recipes and quality standards. Maintain food safety, receive deliveries, organize stock, clean stations, assist other Cooks and Food Servers, monitor inventory to control costs, and follow CA Health & Safety Code guidelines. Requires ability to read safety and procedure manuals, effectively communicate with guests and team, and perform basic math for inventory and yield; gaming-license background checks and licensing requirements are part of the role. The position supports teamwork in a casino kitchen with emphasis on consistent, safe food preparation and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level with minimum 1 year of cooking experience (high-volume in sautés, frying, grilling and sauces)
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check to obtain a Gaming License
- Must renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to city requirements
