Job Summary
The Cook prepares and cooks meat, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot items, portions ingredients, assists with final plate assembly, and ensures dishes are plated to brand standards. Responsibilities include following the Daily Prep List, maintaining clean and sanitary workstation, using kitchen equipment (broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, sauté equipment), ensuring quality and portion control, proper storage and rotation of products, assisting with off-peak prep, closing the kitchen per checklist, attending meetings, and supporting the Chef and management. Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, food safety, sanitation, and ability to plate/garnish to standard are required. The role emphasizes teamwork, fast-paced performance, attention to detail, and adherence to company policies.
