Job Summary
Cook at Lutheran Life Villages Kendallville campus. Prepare high-quality meals for residents, follow recipes, provide sufficient quantities for service times, and maintain kitchen cleanliness per state and federal guidelines. Requires weekend work every other weekend with 430a-1p shifts; ability to work varying weekday hours; strong teamwork and independence; must adhere to sanitary/food service regulations, organize and prioritize tasks, and manage weekend/holiday/extended shifts. Required Qualifications
- One year food service experience preferred
- Ability to adhere to sanitary / food service regulations
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
