Job Summary
Prepare delicious food for AC&T customers by working the stove, oven, and steamer with large pots and five-gallon products. Mix cake batter, transport baked goods 25 feet, and frost cakes in a stand mixer. Wash dishes continuously while bending, extending arms, and lifting items above head level. Maintain inventory control, vendor relations, and a clean kitchen adhering to state regulations. Perform prep tasks for salads, cold units, and catering orders. Work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least eighteen years of age or have a work permit
- Be able to speak, read, understand and write the English language
- Be able to react to a fire by lifting a fire extinguisher weighing 20 pounds and moving it to the fire area
- Be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Be able to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 38 degrees up to 15 minutes at a time
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and extended hours when and if necessary
